Dear Sir, A major landslide occured near Nenmara, in the Nelliyampathi hills of Kerala, India on 29th July 2008. No casualities, but phenomenaly large blocks of rocks and debris obstructed road traffic resulting in many tourists being stranded uphill and all the links to the hill station cut off for many days to come. I have not yet received the details including rainfall and lat long. I will post it to you as soon as I have them. Hope that you are enjoying your fishing sir. regards Sekhar
